Iata in cele ce urmeaza un tweak prin care puteti elimina sageata din partea stanga jos prezenta la fiecare shortcut de pe desktopul Windows 7 (tweak-ul functioneaza si in cazul Windows Vista).

Deci iata ce trebuie sa faca utilizatorii de Windows 7 sau Windows Vista pentru a elimina acest semn particular al shortcut-urilor prezente pe desktop:

• Tastati comanda regedit in boxul Search din cadrul StartMenu, dupa care dati Enter;

• Navigati catre urmatorul registru de sistem:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer ;

• Click dreapta pe explorer, alegeti New -> Key, si datii numele Shell Icons ;

• Click dreapta pe  Shell Icons, alegeti New -> String Value, si atribuitii numele 29 (numele nu valoarea).

• In partea dreapta a ferestrei  dati dublu click pe 29 si dati Paste la urmatorul sir de caractere:

%SystemRoot%\\noarrow.ico,0 ;

• Downloadati  noarrow.ico, si datii Paste in directorul Windows:  C:\Windows .

• Ultimul pas, restartati computerul pentru a vedea rezultatul.
